Cheyenne Canon Family Photo Session

Kara requested a mountain backdrop for her session. Her family traveled here from Arkansas and wanted their photos to look like they were in Colorado. This beautiful mountain location delivered just that! North Cheyenne canon is the perfect spot for a family photo session. It is stunningly beautiful and has lots of space for a family to play and explore.

Kara and her family drove all the way from Silverthorne on the day of their session. I was nervous we would get rained out but the weather cooperated. We could hear thunder off in the distance but it never rained on us. I love when it works out like that. I love summer sessions so much even if they involve a lot of weather reschedules.

Little Rafe was a typical three year old boy! He wanted to run and wasn’t too interested in taking photos. Moms, this is why I stress not to worry about your kids cooperating for your session. Rafe was able to run around and be his wild self all while we captured their family photos. I have two kids myself, one that is WILD and one that is super shy. So mamas, I can totally relate. Most importantly I want to capture your kids exactly as they are, whether that is wild, adventurous, curious, shy, calm, sweet, funny, etc.
