I'm Alysia, a mom of two littles and photographer. I spend my days adventuring with my kids and my nights editing away at my computer. I never dreamed I would be raising my kids in Colorado but now I can't imagine living anywhere else.
I began my photography journey with an old canon rebel taking photos of my new baby, my now almost 6 year old. Since then I've been learning anything and everything about photography. There is always more to learn! In the last six years I've grown so much as photographer that this hobby of mine has turned into my business. While I started as a way to document our own family memories, I quickly learned that I love to photograph motherhood. As a mom myself, I know that we are almost always the ones taking the photos. Lets change that! I'd love to capture photos of you and your family.
I am a Colorado Springs family and maternity photographer, specializing in outdoor lifestyle sessions. My sessions take place on location at golden hour, an hour before sunset. I am obsessed with golden light and mountain views. Colorado Springs has many beautiful locations and I've have spent hours exploring to find the perfect locations. Family sessions are full of chaos and I love every second of it.
01- I love hiking and exploring Colorado with my family. We've lived here for seven years now and there is still so much more to explore.
02- I love sewing quilts, knitting and crocheting. Before becoming a mom I used to work on craft projects all the time. Now it is much less frequent! If you look closely you might spot some of my creations in my photos.
03- I love tacos and margaritas.
04- My favorite show of all time is Grey's Anatomy and I love binge watching it while I edit.
05- And lastly, I love being a mom to these two little red headed munchkins. Capturing our adventures as a family is one of my favorite things.
