Lifestyle newborn sessions in my studio are all about capturing the quiet, everyday moments of welcoming a new baby. With soft natural light and a calm, comfortable space, we’ll focus on your family’s connection and the little details you’ll want to remember. Think natural, relaxed photos that focus on your family’s love—not stiff poses or props.

Lifestyle newborn photography is all about keeping things simple and real. Instead of posed setups, we focus on the little details and natural interactions—your baby’s tiny fingers curled in yours, snuggles on the couch, or siblings leaning in for a kiss. The goal is to document your family as you are, in a way that feels authentic and timeless.
My studio was designed with photography in mind. Large windows fill the space with soft, natural light that makes your images glow.
You don’t need to worry about cleaning your home or finding the perfect corner. The studio is ready for you, with cozy furniture and a calm atmosphere that makes everyone feel at ease.
Everything you need is in one place. No prep, no mess, just a welcoming space where you can fully focus on soaking in those newborn snuggles while I capture the magic.
Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and let your baby’s sweetness shine. Creams, taupes, grays, and muted pastels work especially well against the studio’s light and airy backdrop.
Choose outfits that flow together without being identical. For example, mom in a soft dress, dad in a simple shirt and jeans, and siblings in cozy knits or rompers.
I offer a selection of dresses for moms and wraps for babies, so you don’t need to shop or stress. These pieces are handpicked to photograph beautifully in the studio.
Welcoming a new baby is a big moment for the whole family—especially older siblings. In the studio, I create space for them to feel involved and celebrated.
Instead of stiff poses, I’ll guide siblings with simple prompts—like snuggling next to baby, giving gentle kisses, or showing off their best “big brother/big sister” smile. These moments are often the most heart-melting photos from the session.
Kids have short attention spans, and that’s okay. We’ll keep things light and playful, letting them hop in and out of photos as they need. My goal is to make them feel special while keeping the atmosphere calm for the whole family.
The bond between siblings grows quickly, and capturing those first tender connections in a natural, lifestyle way means you’ll have beautiful photos for years to come.

Your newborn doesn’t need to “perform” for the camera. We’ll move slowly, take breaks for feeding and changing, and let the natural rhythm of your baby guide the session. The result? A gallery full of tender, genuine moments that will take you right back to these first days every time you look at them.

Summer in Colorado Springs is my favorite 🌿☀️
The mountains are green, the sunsets stay out late, and these locations photograph so beautifully this time of year.
These are a few of my favorite summer spots for photo sessions because they each bring something a little different:
✨ Palmer Park Mesa — open trails, golden light, and playful space for kids to run
✨ Garden of the Gods Meadow — wildflowers, red rocks, and dreamy summer sunsets
✨ North Cheyenne Canon — mountain meadow views with an adventurous feel
If you’ve been dreaming about updated family photos that feel playful, funand full of connection, summer is honestly one of the best times to do it.
Now booking Colorado Springs summer sessions 🤍
Not your average Garden of the Gods session 🤍
This location takes a little effort to get to, but that’s exactly what makes it so good. More space, better views, and that golden light.
Full sessions only for this one—and yes, it’s worth it.

This is one of those sessions I’ll never stop sharing… and I’m not even sorry about it 😅
Everything just came together. The light, the colors, the kids being their full goofy selves, and mom and dad just rolling with!

If you’ve ever wondered which spot to choose at Garden of the Gods… here’s a little peek at my go-to locations 👇
They all have totally different vibes, so it really just depends on what you want your photos to feel like.
Mesa Overlook
Easy access + incredible views. This is one of my favorites for families who want that big scenery without a lot of walking. Perfect for mini and short sessions
High Point Overlook
If you don`t mind the crowds you get a mix of trees, rocks, and views all in one spot with minimal walking. Works well for any type of session!
Meadow
More soft and playful. Think tall grass, winding paths, and room for kids to run. Great if you want something less rocky. I love all the green grass in the summer. Requires a bit of walking.
Ridge
This one feels a little more adventurous. You get those big views, amazing light, and space to move around. It’s perfect if you don’t mind a little exploring. Requires a bit of walking on steep rocky terrain.
Pikes Peak Views
This is the classic red rocks and mountain view location. Exactly what people think of with photo sessions at Garden of the Gods and so stunning at sunset. This location is only available for full sessions and requires a longer hike.
Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with any of them… it just comes down to your style, your family, and how much exploring you’re up for.
If you’re not sure which one fits best, I’ll always help you choose 🤍
