Featuring a Family Session in North Cheyenne Canon
Kara and her girls spent the evening with me and we captured some beautiful photos for them to hang in their new house. The girls danced in the sunset and snuggled their mama. It was so important for me to capture the love these three share.
When Kara reached out to book her session she mentioned she loved the idea of using a grassy field for her photos. I immediately thought of this location because it has both a grassy field and mountain views. This beautiful meadow is one of my favorite summer and fall locations to use for family photos in Colorado Springs. I love the mountain views and the way the sun sets over the mountains during the summer. Just a few minutes from town this spot feels adventurous but is convenient and easily accessible. In fall the lush green grass turns into a beautiful golden field and is equally beautiful.
We are so lucky to have so many stunning locations to use for photos in Colorado Springs. I love that this spot has lots of space for kids to run around and explore. I like to use the mountain views as the backdrop while the sun is setting and then use the wooded area after the sun sets. This adds so much variety to the gallery, which I love.
I’m so glad I got to spend the evening with them and capture their new life as a family of three.
