Two Holiday-Themed Set Options for 2025
For the Colorado Springs Indoor Holiday Mini Sessions, I’m bringing back both sets from last year. The holiday PJ I’ve been doing for years now. Each year, I switch up the set a little to keep your photos feeling fresh and special, and this year is no different. I’ve been taking holiday PJ photos of my kids since my youngest was just nine months old and these are some of my favorite photos.
1. Holiday Pajama Bed Setup:
This is hands-down my favorite! The setup features a cozy bed decked out with festive pillows, blankets, and holiday decor. It’s perfect for matching pajamas and those candid, snuggly shots that feel like holiday mornings.
2. White Couch with Holiday Decor:
Looking for a slightly dressier vibe? This setup features a clean, bright background with classic holiday accents. It’s great for coordinating outfits and getting that polished photo for your holiday cards.

I know these sessions seem short! But trust me, we can capture so many photos in a short session!

Let’s be honest—November in Colorado can be cold. Snow, wind, and chilly evenings aren’t exactly ideal for happy kiddos in front of the camera. That’s why I love offering these indoor minis. No weather worries, no frozen fingers—just a cozy space with beautiful lighting and festive setups.
Plus, these sessions are great for kids of all ages and can include the whole family or just the kids—whatever works best for you.
Outfit Tips for the Best Holiday Photos
Pajama Minis: Matching PJs are always a hit. Think holiday prints!
Couch Setup: Dress it up a little! Cute sweaters, dresses, and button-ups all look great. Feel free to go festive with holiday colors or stick to neutrals for a timeless look.
Can We Bring Pets or Extended Family?
Due to space in the studio, I typically don’t include extended families or pets in these minis. However, if you have a special request—like including your pup—reach out to me directly. I’ll do my best to accommodate if it’s a good fit!
How to Prepare Your Kids for a Smooth Experience
These sessions move quickly, but that’s part of the magic. I guide families through a few easy, natural poses and then let kids be themselves.
To keep the experience fun, I’ll have a small treat for the kids after the session—usually a cookie they can decorate. It’s a sweet way to wrap up your time and add a little holiday sparkle to the day.
Fast Turnaround for Holiday Cards
Need your photos in time for cards or gifts? I’ve got you! I aim to deliver galleries within one week of your session. My goal is to have all galleries sent out before Thanksgiving, giving you plenty of time to print and prep.
