I’m so excited to announce that this year I’ll be hosting Christmas pajama mini sessions. These sessions will take place in my brand new home studio. The past couple years I’ve been taking Christmas pajama photos of my own kiddos. I look forward to these photos all year. It has been a goal of mine to be able to offer these sessions for a while now. I’m so happy to finally be making it happen this year.
I’ve been working hard the past few weeks to get my home studio all set up. I’m so excited with how it turned out. I love how it is such a simple backdrop. I can easily change it up to offer seasonal or themed mini sessions. It is going to be perfect this winter for motherhood sessions and baby milestone sessions when it is too cold to be outside. The room has a large bay window and really beautiful light. I’m obsessed with the white and cream color palette and especially love the sheer curtains.
Where it all began
Growing up my parents always gave us new Christmas Pajamas every year. It was the one gift we were allowed to open on Christmas Eve. And my mom still continues this tradition today, and of course continues it with the grand kids. Every year on back Friday she is at Carters shopping the door-buster Christmas Pajamas.
I thought I’d take you on a trip down memory lane and show you the last couple years of Christmas pajama photos. Looking back through these photos I am reminded of just how important it is to have photos of your kids taken regularly. Mini sessions are a great opportunity to do just that!
Back in 2017 I was pregnant with Ella and these were the first photos I took after not picking up my camera for a couple of months. I was feeling so sick and didn’t take a single photo for months. OMG you guys Ian was so little and such a CUTE two year old.
Last year Ella was just eight months old and such a cutie. Gosh I can’t believe how much she has grown in the last year. Babies don’t keep y’all. Which is why so important capture these fleeting moments while we can, so we have something to look back on.
I also like looking through these photos because you can see my growth as a photographer and how my style has evolved over the past couple years.
