Two of my favorite things as a Colorado Springs photographer are baby photos and sessions at Garden of the gods. This session had it all! The best part of maternity sessions is photographing cute little babies eight months later! It doesn’t get any better than this! Photographing this cute little family at Garden of the Gods was one of my favorite sessions this year. This time last year we were photographing their pregnancy announcement and then last fall was their maternity photos, but this session is by far my favorite!
Moms spend so many hours just snuggling their babies! I love capturing photos like these to remember those special moments.
This little family is moving out of town. It was such an honor to capture one last session before they leave. It makes me so happy this sweet girl will have these photos to look back on when her parents tell her about being born in Colorado.
Location, Timing, and Outfits
I could share every single image from this session! When everything comes together perfectly, it makes for a magical session.
Garden of the Gods has so many beautiful spots for photos but this particular spot is one of my favorites. It requires a short little hike but it is worth it because has the best views in the park. The best part about hiking in a little is that we escape the crowds!
One of the more challenging parts of summer photo sessions is the later sunset times. But you simply cannot get photos like this any other time of day. Being outside in the fresh air really helps ward off any bedtime fussiness.
Kaitlyn does a great job choosing outfits for her photo sessions. She was determined to wear white this time around and found the perfect outfit at The Local Honey.
