Summer in Colorado is so beautiful. Lush greenery and wildflowers cover the landscape. Lately I have been loving how neutral colors and warm tones coordinate with it. I put together three style boards to help you with what to wear for your summer photo session in Colorado. These style boards will also be perfect for fall.
What to wear for you Summer Photo Session in Colorado
Right now I am obsessed with shades of rust, brown, mustard, and maroon. A little pop of those warm colors combined with lots of neutral pieces is really the perfect way to style your session. Below are three different looks ranging from bold to more neutral. All three of these looks would be perfect at any of the locations we have here in Colorado Springs. They would look great in a green grassy field and also perfect with the red rocks at Garden of the Gods. You really can’t go wrong styling your session in these color palettes.
This look might be one of my favorites because I am obsessed with that floral toddler dress. It’s so pretty. I always recommend dressing at least one family member in a floral print if possible. Usually I recommend a more subtle pattern but I just love the colors on this one.
I think this look will transition really well for fall. I love this toddler dress so much that I added it to my client closet. It arrived yesterday and I had my daughter try it on. Its even better in person and will be the perfect fall dress.
I love all the neutrals in this look! You really can’t go wrong with a simple look like this one. I think it is super fun to add lots of accessories to a neutral style board.
