I went over to Evans Army Community Hospital on Fort Carson to meet Baby Hayden for a fresh 48 session. Many of my fresh 48 clients come from Fort Carson which is really special. I love supporting the local military community.
You might be tired of hearing me tell you that these are my favorite sessions. But I’m telling you anyways. They are my FAVORITE! There is something so natural about newborn hospital photos, that they are the most stress free family sessions. It is really just two parents oohing and ahhing over their brand new baby. Such a simple photo session that creates really beautiful and magical images.
After my first Fresh 48 I was so surprised at how calm the session felt. I think parents are just so happy to sit back and let a photographer capture the moments so they can just enjoy those the first few days with their new baby. There is also just this sense of relief that baby is finally here. Hayden’s session was no different. Even with the addition of two very excited grandmothers the session was still very relaxed and easy going. Most of the time babies are either super alert and wide awake or in such a deep sleep nothing wakes them. Either way we just go with it and document them as they are, so fresh and perfect. See, what is there not to love about Fresh 48 sessions! If you know someone who is pregnant make sure you tell them all about these amazing sessions.
