Summer is one of my favorite times of the year for family photos in Colorado Springs . Lately I’ve been obsessed with the bright vibrant colors and stormy summer skies. We’ve gotten a lot of rain this year so everything is so green. Colorado Springs has many beautiful locations but this one is especially beautiful in the summer. I love the tall green grasses and beautiful mountain views.
You may have heard me mention before that six months is the perfect baby age for family photos. Babies that age are pretty happy being held and usually not on the move just yet! Which makes photos easy peasy. But the real reason is that the first year of your baby’s life goes by so unbelievably fast. It’s a season that is so incredibly demanding yet so worth every sleepless night and every cranky witching hour. You won’t ever regret documenting it with family photos.
Baby Jackson was the happiest baby at this sunset family session. I don’t think he made a peep the entire time. Such a cutie too! And his little outfit was adorable. I know some moms are hesitant to schedule a sunset session in summer due to the late start time, but most baby’s are so happy being outside on a warm summer night.
