Colorado Springs Maternity Photos at Garden of the Gods
Back in December I met these two at Garden of the Gods to capture their Colorado Springs maternity photos. It’s their first baby, which makes these photos extra special. Their lives are about to change in a BIG way and I was honored to document this for them. Garden of the Gods is a stunning location and never disappoints, with its red rock and mountain views.
Maternity photos are so special and I want to share a little bit about what makes them so important. When I was pregnant with my first, four years ago I never even considered having photos taken. For one, it wasn’t as much of a thing as it is today. And to be honest, I felt like crap pregnant so a photo shoot was the last thing on my mind.

- Before you know it you’ll hardly remember being pregnant. Its true what the say, it really does go by so fast. And you’ll be so glad to have taken maternity photos to look back on.
- Whether its you first child of your fourth, your family is about to change forever. Its so special to capture your family right now before that change happens. And, especially if this is your first child its the perfect time to capture couple photos before baby arrives.
- Your kiddos will love to look back at these photos one day. Trust me, when I say kids love to look at photos of there parents before they were born. They are curious about it and these photos will tell part of their story.
- No matter how you feel, pregnancy is an absolutely beautiful thing that deserves to be captured. Your body is growing another human being and that is simply amazing and deserves to be captured.
