As a family photographer, I am constantly on the lookout for new locations that can serve as a beautiful backdrop for family photos. However, Garden of the Gods is one location that is so stunning it keeps me coming back. Today, I am sharing my favorite Garden of the Garden of the Gods photography session. This session features a young family with an adorable baby boy.
Sunset Family Photos
First we captured some family photos of the three of them together. The sun was just about to set behind them. The warm hues of sunset combined with the stunning scenery made for a truly magical moment. These photos were some of my favorites from the session. The few minutes before the sun sets behind the mountains is the most magical time of any photo session. This family was wonderful to work with. The love and joy between them was beautiful to capture.
Another highlight of this family session was when we captured some beautiful photos of the family sitting on the red rocks. Their outfits complimented the vivid hue of the red rocks which created some stunning images. One of my favorite parts of this location is the variety of photos we are able to capture here. The red rock formations add a truly unique element.
Next up was capturing some mom and baby photos. These are always so special and heartwarming. The mom looked stunning in her Free People dress, and the baby boy was adorable in his little overalls. We captured some precious moments of the two of them set against the beautiful backdrop.
At the end of the session we took a few minutes to capture some couple photos of just mom and dad. This couple was so comfortable with one another which made it easy to capture some beautiful and intimate moments. I always love capturing a few photos of mom and dad at every family session.
